In a remote database administration engagement, we assume all or some of the responsibilities of installing, configuring, monitoring, maintaining and performance tuning the database that sits in your data center or server room. This is an absolutely feasible model with the use of today's highly secured, high speed connectivity techniques. We remotely administrate Oracle, SQL*Server and MySQL databases, hosted on UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms, using VPN (secured Virtual Private Network, over the internet) and utilize remote desktop sharing, VNC, or SSH to administrate and monitor the database. We work closely with our clients to create SLA upfront and we follow them very seriously. We use effective work-flow tools for tracking database issues, requests from the client, and maintenance tasks. Our DBA are seasoned experts with experience in managing large scale databases.
